Do you here the alarm bells? Not yet? Okay, well then think about this shit… The forms were often said to reside in the heavens. The forms were the most real and truest thing you could get. Everything in the physical world merely tried to imitate these perfect forms. They are perfect, eternal, and non-overlapping entities. Plato believed in these things called “Forms”. This is where the inner alarm bells of anyone familiar with Plato should be ringing. In the manga there are multiple scenes in which the Sailor scouts are being instructed to remember their “true” selves, their lives before they died and were reincarnated. The protagonist, and her companions, are all reincarnated from their former lives as inhabitants of the Moon Kingdom (of which Usagi, aka Sailor Moon, was once royalty). So here is the first post, and here we start with the philosophy of Plato and the popular anime/manga Sailor Moon.
